publications - magazines and fora I have found to be useful and helpful

Outdoor Photography I consider Outdoor Photography to be the finest photography magazine produced in the UK. As the name suggests, it's emphasis is on Landscape, Wildlife and Travel photography. Shame about the website
EOS Magazine EOS Magazine is a quarterly publication dedicated to Canon EOS film & digital SLR cameras, lenses, accessories and the people who use them
Outdoor Photographer Outdoor Photographer is an American magazine dedicated to all aspects of Outdoor Photography, combining excellent technique articles and equipment reviews with showcases of images by some of North America's best photgraphers

commercial - companies and organisations I have been and remain happy to recommend

Canon Since my passion for photography began over 15 years ago, I have always used Canon cameras and, although I still use some third-party manufactured lenses, I aspire to move towards exclusively Canon equipment in the future
Fuji I have used Fuji films throughout my photography and the vast majority of work on this site has been shot on Provia 100F, Sensia 100, Velvia 50, Velvia 100F and Velvia 100 slide film
Lowepro After having used several brands of camera bag over the years, I consider the LowePro rucksack I now use to be the most comfortable and best "value for money" bag I have ever owned. I wouldn't buy any other brand
Wilkinson Cameras Most of my major photographic purchases over the years have been made from Wilkinson cameras in Preston & Blackburn. I have found they offer keen prices and excellent customer service together with a real passion for photgaphy
Mathers of Lancashire I have found Mathers to offer some of the best prices on film in the UK. They might not be quite as cheap as certain companies based in the Channel islands, but at least I can order from them knowing the film will arrive within 48 hours
Speedgraphic Speedgraphic don't sell cameras, but they sell just about everything else related to photography . . . . . and their prices are very keen too
Peak Imaging Peak Imaging have been processing my slides for a number of years and they maintain a consistently high quality at a fair price.
D S Colour Labs D S Colour Labs offer professional quality colour prints from digital files at prices so low I can't match them at home
Wildlife Watching Supplies Wildlife Watching Supplies - All you need to get closer to the wildlife.
